What you want to know.
01Who can see my documents?+
Only you. Every document is tied to your account through Row Level Security – other users technically cannot reach it. Transfers use TLS, storage is AES‑256 encrypted.
02Are my documents used to train AI?+
No. We use Google Cloud Vision for text recognition and the OpenAI API for analysis. Per their data usage policy, data sent through the API is not used for model training. The full list of what goes where is in the privacy policy.
03What happens to my data if I cancel?+
You can delete your account at any time in the settings – documents, analyses and personal data are removed irreversibly. You can download your documents before that at any point.
04What counts towards my monthly limit?+
Only documents successfully analysed during the current month. A failed analysis does not count. Reopening or re-analysing a document you already have does not count a second time. The quota resets on the 1st of each month.
05Does it work with Austrian or Swiss mail?+
Yes. Docriva is built for German, French and English documents and is not tied to a single country. Official letters, invoices and contracts from the DACH region and France are handled the same way.
06Do I need a credit card to start?+
No. The free version works without payment details and without an expiry date. You only need payment details if you decide to move to Premium or Pro.
